Mattress Sold Separately The Opera® Signature Profiling Bariatric Bed is a heavy duty care bed for bariatric and plus size users. It is 4ft/120cm extra wide with a safe working load of up to 250kg/39st 5lbs. PROFILING MATTRESS The Signature Bariatric bed enables the user to raise their back rest to suit up whilst in the bed. The bed also allows user to elevate their legs and feet by raising the leg rest. The profiling mattress platform can be adjusted by the user of care providers by using the control handset that is simple to use and clips onto the side of the bed. ALL-IN-ONE HEIGHT RANGE The extensive height range of the Signature Bariatric bed combines standard and low height beds into one, giving operators the best of both worlds. A low height of 245mm assists with falls management and a nursing height of 730mm facilitates care on the bed WIDE AND HEAVY-DUTY The Opera® Signature Bariatric bed has been designed with a sturdier frame and wider sleeping platform to accommodate bariatric larger, heavier users. The beds construction of the bed supports the user in bed to allow them to be comfortable whilst in a fixed or adjusted position. ERGONOMIC HANDSET The Opera® Signature Bariatric bed comes with a premium ergonomically-designed handset that controls the bed. The rounded edges and soft-touch moulded buttons are designed for ease of use. The handset has a locking feature that allows the operator to deactivate all or specific functions where there are safety concerns. 40ST WEIGHT CAPACITY The Signature Bariatric has been engineered and stringently tested to enable a safe working load of 250kg (39¼st). WOOD COLOURS The Opera® Signature Bariatric bed can be purchased in our stocked wood colours, oak and walnut. For bespoke orders, the Signature Bariatric can be specified in over 200 different wood colours, allowing to create a complete unique profiling bed to suit any bedroom interior.
